Innovator Systems Changer Creator Speaker Writer Nurse

Hello! I'm Michelle Bernabe, RN, a driven storyteller and healthcare reformer.

A Columbia University trained nurse, Michelle Bernabe combines mental health thought leadership with narrative medicine to innovate in healthcare. Michelle's unique approach integrates narratives to reshape healthcare, not just in advancing treatments but as part of a broader movement for change.

As a scholar of principles like unlearning, curiosity, forgiveness, and restorative justice, embodying the mantra ‘transform yourself, transform the world’. Through her insights on moral health shared in her Substack newsletter, she actively contributes to collective healing, demonstrating how personal growth is integral to societal and systemic change.

While many people helped Michelle get on the transformative path she is on today, she would be remiss not to highlight leaders like, Audre Lorde and adrienne maree brown, who have taught her to ask questions such as:

How do we re-center humility, curiosity, and pleasure in how we change the healthcare?

How do we create irresistible spaces of belonging where there’s room for your whole self to heal?

How do we work together to imagine something more compelling than our current (health) system?”

Unapologetically here to create better health experiences. Care to join?
